October's updates!

I need to get used of writing blog posts and posting more photos... I'm so bad with it, haha.

Anyway, lots of things happened. We're doing our ministry even when all clubs in UM are closed up (so crazy). For now Montana is a red state, which makes people be more careful about their health. But we're working. And God is ALWAYS working.

Last week (oct 4th-oct 10th) our director Jill came to visit us. We didn't think (at least I didn't) that she wouldn't be sooooo serious. She was helping us to understand how to solve conflicts in the team (it's not that we have them a lot, just understanding what is healthy and what is not), showed us new tools for reading out new students, and just had fun with us. Also we were celebrating us being a month in Missoula (Oct 4th). Still hard to believe that we already a month and 2 weeks here (almost 2 months!!).

Oct 6th. We went to Glacier National Park. It's about 2 hours drive to the park and then a day driving in the park. It was very beautiful. We went for a short hike, where everything was beautiful. And it was a great day to spend together and just see how beautiful is God's creation. Until we decided to go up to the mountain. The road we took called "Going-To-The-Sun". And it was also wonderful. But not for a person who has a motion sickness. It was fun to go up, even I felt seek. Just being able to see the small road on the bottom of the mountain and small cars on it. To see the Sun hiding behind mountains. To see difference trees and colors. To see a small river going by the road, which cough the sunlights. God is so Great because he created it. And He is so Loving because He cares about everything, even a small leaf falling down from a tree.

Also we started a Cru Gap Year instagram account, where we also will post some updates about our mission. The link is here.

This week was also exciting. We were doing tabling on the campus. The idea was to just reach out for students. We got 27 new contacts! We were just inviting students to join a lottery where you can win a pie, and just get a free pumpkin. Some of them were really against talking with us, and some of them gave their numbers so we can send them information about our meetings. Because Esther and I weren't doing tables (we are allowed to have only 2 people doing one table), we just were walking back and forward between our tables. We found a guy who was also tabling there. It was so nice talking to him, and, as we found out, he is a freshman and is searching for a good community. Please, pray for him, so he can get closer to God. He doesn't know a lot about christianity, but he is very interested to know more.

For now we're getting new contacts through Instagram, so I want you to pray for students to be open to get a free coffee and just make a good friendship with us and student leaders.

So now we're making new friends, praying for them, and getting them closer to God.

Thank you for your prayers! Don't forget to subscribe to stay in touch! ~ Irina
