Fresh news!

(They aren’t fresh, but still news)

As far as Gap Year is coming We have changed a lot of things! Because of COVID-19 we weren’t able to start our briefing in Orlando. Also we weren’t able to start off in Ecuador as we were planed.

But those were our plans and not God’s. Through this time God showed us that even in the pandemic He can provide His work. We were praying a lot for our mission trip and for our leaders so they could make the best decisions.

The main thing is that our team is ready to take this challenge and go to our trip!

Now we’re going to start off in Montana, where we’ll stay until January. Our team starts on September 5th. After that time in Montana we’ll go overseas. We don’t know yet where exactly we will go. So pray for us, so we can make a decision which will work the best for our team.

Also we don’t know our team leaders yet, but we’ll meet them on the next Thursday. This is so exciting.

The last thing we were worried about was my flight from Russia to States. As you might know countries aren’t open for everyone to come. So I might not just get to our briefing place because I’m from Russia. And about 2 weeks ago I have started looking up for tickets. They are too expensive (the cheapest is $3,500!!). So I was praying that God could provide this. And a little bit later Jill (our coordinator) said that they’d found a cheap flight for me. So now I have a ticket for September 9th. I’m going to be a bit late but I can get there!

Actually in a month we all will meet each other personally! This is so scared for me... I will meet people with who I’ll spend my next year. I’m just praying now that I will be able to be less shy and be more confident in myself. But I’m sure that God will work through me even if I’ll be humble.
